Kara Masters (Of Counsel) was born in Texas, and came to the Pacific NW to attend the University of Puget Sound, now Seattle University School of Law, in 1993. Since that time, she has been practicing in the state and federal courts of Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Alaska, handling a wide variety of civil legal issues. She also clerked for three state appellate court judges – Honorable Elaine M. Houghton, ret. (Division II), for the Honorable William W. Baker, ret. (Division I), and for the Honorable Anne L. Ellington, ret. (Division I). Kara’s current trial practice with MRK focuses in the areas of insurance coverage and defense, commercial, construction and contract disputes, and employment matters.
